David Mackey
DIRECTOR / STORY SPECIALIST
Starting out as an apprentice Pipefitter Welder in the UK, David soon realised he had an instinct for entertaining and storytelling. This insightful nature brought him to Australia and set him on an entrepreneurial path.
After studying at the New York Film Academy in 2007 David started Mackbel Films to create videos for people and their business. But seven years on he faced a moment of clarity. Video content was just adding to the noise… unless it was driven by an authentic story that had value. This eureka moment was a tectonic shift for David’s vocation.
Since 2014 David has pursued solving what is opposing the business from communicating their value so an emotional connection can be made. Now in 2020 David proudly offers 20 years of experience to help you define your difference to your competitors.
Tom Wroblewski
SOUND RECORDIST
Since completing an advance diploma in Audio Production in 2013, Tom has gone on to fulfill his ambitions working in the field of audio for film and television.
As a freelancer, Tom has worked in post-production and as a location sound recordist on independent feature and short films, network television shows as well as TVC’s, web and corporate media.
Belinda Mackey
PRODUCER / INTERVIEWER
Belinda sees herself as a creator rather than a creative. Her purpose is to lead positive change and align with likeminded people who value health, happiness, and all living forms of life that make up our incredible environment.
With a Health Science degree under her belt and two decades of working and teaching in the modelling / acting industry, she is highly organized, detailed and knows how to “get things done”.
By creating videos with intention and purpose she hopes to help people think outside of what they know and feel motivated, included, and inspired to act in a meaningful and positive way.
Daniel Palmer
CAMERA OPERATOR
Dan has been part of the Mackbel crew for almost a decade and is a ninja when it comes to filming in environments where being inconspicuous is essential. As such he has racked up many hours filming behind-the-scene footage on many film and tv shows for our Electronic Press Kit projects.
